The list has been published after regularizing the unauthorized ‘Besamorik gazette’ of the Jatiya Muktijoddha Council
The Liberation War Affairs Ministry has published the combined list (third phase) of names of valiant freedom fighters.
The names of 12,116 freedom fighters of 388 upazilas under eight divisions have been published in the list, said a press release on Monday.
The list is available on the website of the ministry www.molwa.gov.bd, according to the release.

The published list includes 3,459 freedom fighters from Dhaka division, 2,374 from Chittagong, 1,180 from Barisal, 2,290 from Khulna, 333 from Mymensingh, 1,437 from Rajshahi, 768 from Rangpur, and 275 from Sylhet division.

Earlier, on March 25 last, the Liberation War Affairs Ministry published the names of 147,537 freedom fighters in the combined list while on May 9, names of 6,988 freedom fighters were published in the second phase.
On February 9, Jamuka decided to revoke the gallantry titles of four self-confessed killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family. The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.
The four are SHBM Noor Chowdhury, Shariful Haque Dalim, Rashed Chowdhury, and Risaldar Moslehuddin alias Muslem Uddin Khan.
